Back in 2003 the idea of setting up a Commercial Catering Equipment Supply/Repair company was put into reality by Andrew Warren, Ian James, and Mike Boulton.
AIM Commercial Catering Equipment Services Ltd was created with the focus on offering Clients a service that exceeded and improved upon anything that was currently in the market place, the answer, Honesty and Reliability, supported by knowledgeable and friendly staff, but more importantly cost reductions to the client.

When new Clients approached AIM requesting there services, it was often stated that they were unhappy with either the quality of work undertaken or charges being levelled at them by the current service provider. AIMs philosophy was to ensure that all staff/engineers sent to site had a full understanding of what the client required and from an engineer’s point of view, full product knowledge enabling him/her to make the correct diagnosis and offer a repair that the client was happy to pay for.
One of my key roles within the company is to look at the skill base of each member of staff and arrange the correct training ensuring each staff member is conversant with items of catering equipment they may encounter during there working day, and legislation which is relevant to Clients establishment.
If you get your first time diagnosis right cost reductions will naturally occur.
Over the 11 years that AIM have traded a substantial client data base has be developed to include large Care Home Groups, Schools Colleges and Universities, and Large Facility Management Companies wanting to utilise our services.
We carry substantial spares within each of our company vehicles along with an excellent chain of equipment/spares suppliers who fully support us as a company, allowing us to meet the growing demand from our Clients .
